New Report: ARRA: 450k Government Jobs Saved/Created While 1 Million Private Sector Jobs Stalled/Destroyed
State, National, International, posted by VoteDemsOut, a resident of the Amador Estates neighborhood, on May 15, 2011 at 10:07 pm

Simply breathtaking. The Obama Admin ... including McNerney has destroyed up to 1 million private sector jobs while adding nearly a half million government sector positions. (Yes, Bush played a role in the bailouts... albeit smaller). But Obama amplified our debt exponentially and at the same time wreaking devastation upon our economy.

Here is the report by economists from the Ohio State Univ. and the Univ. Western Ontario... Web Link

(Thank you, Mr. McNerney...for your "wonderful" efforts to improve our economy and making the future bright for our children....NOT!!!")

Why do Californians tolerate this crap ? Last week's new campaign hoopla about all the great new jobs is so insulting to CA. The nation has a terrible 9% UNemployment rate, but giant CA, equal to a dozen states, is SUFFERING over 12% UNemployment.!!! CA light manufacturing has disappeared in the last 2 years. WHY don't we hear CA 12% unemployment hammered on ANY of the the national political talk or news shows ??...like right along with & in the same segment about the new (government) jobs. Ooops, what a farse anyway, since GOVERNEMENT does not CREATE jobs, which provies nothing for our GDP ! ! ! But, Obama keeps giving 1/2 Billion $$ to companies that MIGHT provide jobs in several years ! ! Meanwhile CA lives (or is dying) with 12% UNemployment. Several days ago I heard on KGO radio, that U-Haul moving trailers LEAVING CA to areas around Texas were running $1600.oo because of the demand. Drivers are so needed to bring them back to CA, the charge is only $230.-$240.... WHO would move to a state with special green brewed gas at $4.50/gal, and NO mid-level, light manufacturing/engineering jobs, 12+% unemployment, buried in public employees that retire with $300,000. in unused vacation PAY bonus ! There is no end. But did Pelosi or McNerney EVER defend Californians when they pass all the assorted national one-size-fits-all crap. Who is looking after the UNemployed Californians? ? nobody ! When will the ignorant learn CA needs and costs are not like Ohio, Okla, or Iowa.

Since CA is the biggest wheel in the US economy, I think it is time we demand some attention. And, I do mean more than a fly in to collect millions for Presidential campaigning, or the visits to keep visiting the same solar companies to drop off repeated millions of taxpayer $$, only to learn, the company isn't viable or doesn't plan on gearing up for a year or 2. All the rest of CA mid-level workers should be ticked at being ignored and used. The only beneficiaries in CA are PUBLIC employees, who have benefited more than the rest of CA combined. I think the Pres might find the country could do better, IF CA traditional light capital equipment production was still operational.
