Two Livermore residents have been charged in a Pleasanton prescription fraud, according to a police report. Christina Marie Singleterry, 24, and Evan Derek Becker, 27 were arrested May 12 after Pleasanton Police Department Special Enforcement Unit served a search warrant on their home.

I don't understand the Editor's use of this Town Forum for this item.
This is a Local News event which the PW has appropriately placed elsewhere in the Local News section. Why this has to be double-posted in the Town Forum just dilutes the entries.
In fact, this entire Town Forum format needs an overhaul. Entries including someone's favorite apple dumpling turnover recipe is placed on the same page as the most unfortunate Hummer Mom case. Doesn't seem right.
Seems as if there should not be an "All Postings" page...just separate categories and the reader would then select the categories of posting he/she wants to read and comment on.

It appears no one has anything good to say about the police doing their job in fighting a growing crime trend. BUT, the residents of Pleasanton sure has a lot to say when it comes to employee pensions and retirements. WOW! Maybe if we cut their pensions we can then worry about the negative aspects of life in town such as crime and drugs. I don't know.... just maybe....
