WHY?
Around Town, posted by Fallon, a resident of the Castlewood neighborhood, on Jul 7, 2008 at 5:10 pm

Why does the Weekly shut down sites so quickly? You go to respond and its been closed by Jeb Bing, Editor. Can't the sites stay on line a little longer so others have a chance to give their opinions? This has been bothering me for some time now. Am I alone or do others feel this way too?

Grow up Felty...if you want to post, then post. I post all the time and I've never had a problem. Except of course, many of my posts and those of other Cholo wannabees get deleted...tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

Just say what you gotta say or shut up crybaby!

If the writer is referring to the Fr. Jim Sullivan @ CCOP post, that topic started as a reader commentary June 22 and was running thousands of words long. It also was degenerating into a negative discussion about the Rev. Fr. Greene at the CCOP, a subject that has been covered exhaustively by the media and in numerous comments on Town Square. The post is still online and anyone is welcome to start a new one, but this one truly had run its course.

I have followed many posts for a long time and have NOT seen that PW is quick to pull the trigger. Quite the opposite.

What about the thread on movies and academy awards? There was one recently on the appeal of psycopathic criminals in film and that seems to have disappeared.
