So, I'm incorrect in pointing out there's an obvious agenda at work here with this drive-by post that states that: "In the end, it was the school district that brought us here "?
It's not the school district that brings people to Pleasanton. The wording of this statement implies the administration, and by extension the union, are responsible for students achievements in the form of good test scores and GPA's.
"...it takes support from the community to keep the schools at the top level."
Now, that statement I agree with. The taxpayers, parents of school age children, dedicated teachers and the students themselves, all make up the 'community' responsible for schools that perform well.
The 'district' respresents the overhead necessary to administer the schools and is not the reason parents move to our city.
