Pension Liability Workshop, Tuesday 6:30pm

City's Agenda is posted here: Web Link
The PtownCitizens.com citizen's coalition website has collected 31 questions from various citizens and posted them here. Web Link
These questions were forwarded to the city manager and city council on Friday (1/28).
I am looking forward to hearing the city's responses to these questions and encourage all citizens to attend the workshop and inform themselves on the unfunded pension liability situation.
It is critical that all affected parties enter into any new contract with "eyes open" to the city's fiscal situation as well as the fiscal impact of any new contract. I thank the city for holding this workshop and expect it to be most civil as well as productive.
Additionally, you may join the mailing list created to keep citizens informed on this issue at the ptowncitizens.com website.
I look forward to citizens from all perspectives sharing their views as we work together to solve this serious fiscal problem in a manner that is fair to all.
