Elementary Schools in Pleasanton
Original post made by AD on Jan 20, 2011
We are going to enroll our child in a pleasanton elementary school this year. We have looked at schools and they all seem great. I don't think the API scores tell the whole story. Seems like we won't go wrong even if we selected a school at random.
However, I was wondering if anyone has opinions or a location where I could find information about differences between these schools. Valley View has a dual immersion program that seems promising -- my son likes to learn different languages. Mohr elementary is close to our house.
I've looked at a few private schools (Carden West, Quarry Lane) in pleasanton but do not understand what "extra" they have to offer.
Not a very pointed post, but generally wanted to hear the sentiments of the community and look for any pointers that you may have to share.
