In the busy Christmas holiday season, Pleasanton police are urging motorists and shoppers to take extra precautions to protect their safety in public places.

Here I'll sum the article up for people: Use common sense - we don't live in a vacuum. Criminals don't have what crime they will commit stamped on their forehead. They look like ... guess what ... other people. Good luck.
