The Community's willingness to participate in reporting all suspicious behavior is essential in decreasing the crime and drug problem Pleasanton currently has.
It's serious!!
This town has become increasingly LAZY -on caring and participating in the safety of it's neighbors.

Good for her. I had a situation yesterday where there was a suspicious man parked on our street shuffling around inside and outside his vehicle. He then proceeded to pull up about 30 yards and park in a red-zone, right in front of a fire hydrant. He fumbled around in his car some more then got out, put on a real long heavy coat and took off into the park. Thinking he was suspicious, I called the police department and gave them the vehicle make and model with license plate number and description of the person. Eventually two motorcycle patrol officers showed up, looked over the vehicle and proceeded to drive into the park, I assume looking for the man. Over an hour later the man came back hopped in his car after again fumbling around inside and outside and left. Whether the police ever found him in the park, I am not sure. But what puzzles me is why neither officer wrote up a ticket for parking in a red zone in front of a fire hydrant. Apparently a couple hundred dollars the city did not need.

Kudos to the would be victim and our Pleasanton PD. These bums cut me off entering the freeway at Sunol Blvd. A Pleasanton officer came on 680 northbound at Bernal and quickly caught up to the suspects SUV. 3 Pleasanton PD backup vehicle joined the pursuit, followed the SUV to the Bollinger Canyon exit and arrested them. Nicely done.....

But a few repeat offenders commit multiple crimes.
great that they caught these guys.
Wonder if they can charge them, since they got stopped before they robbed or killed.
The important part is to call 911, whenever you see something suspicious.
Pleasanton police are awesome!
I reported a suspicious confrontive guy, got his vehicle license no.
Pleasanton Police came quickly took the info and left.
Months later I was asked if I would testify- turned out I didn't need to, but the guy was abusive toward the police, too, and got arrested, and charged.
One less bad guy loose. Awesome
Better get this posted before they close the thread!
