Amador High School Clubs
Schools & Kids, posted by Cliff, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on Nov 9, 2010 at 11:55 am

I need information about the student clubs that are offered at Amador. There is a list on the Amador website of clubs but no info on where and when they meet. It also seems that some of the clubs on the list are no longer active. I posted about this a while ago and someone suggested I look at the 'Bulletin' section on the Amador website. I've been checking it regularly but I cannot find information there regarding when and where clubs meet. Does anybody know how to find out in which room and when the various clubs at Amador meet?

Why are you posting your question here? The school has a phone number and all calls are answered. Make the call and ask them directly.

Yes, literally the phone is picked up, but members of the front office staff don't have specific info on each club. I've called.

Why do you need this information anyways? Its a little creepy that some adult wants to know the specific classroom a club is meeting in lol... If you have a student at amador they can just go ask a leadership teacher or have them simply listen to the bulletin twice a week. And the announcements online usually say club meetings.

I agree....if you are a student you should ask a teacher for help or maybe check the Leadership room. Pleasanton Weekly is kind of an odd place to ask such a question.

Many of the clubs meet at lunchtime in different classrooms. Have your student go to the leadership teacher or Activities desk (they might know). Clubs are really for the student's to search out and find out about, as they are student run with a faculty advisor. I know there's a book club that meets in the library and there's a FISH club as well.

It really is, especially under the heading "Schools and Kids."
