City Council meets tonight on ice rink, public park

The Pleasanton City Council will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight to consider a master plan for a 17-acre community park on the Staples Ranch property that could include a multi-million-dollar ice and hockey rink.

The City's internet services really suck. They are supposed to send out a notification of Council meeting agendas in email. (see Web Link) I get notifications sporadically at best and I certainly didn't receive a notification for this one.

Maybe they didn't want any hockey people there - they're a rowdy bunch, you know........:)
