Pleasanton Weekly Censoring Info About McNerney's Voting Record ...

Original post made by Brian, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Oct 11, 2010

I have made several factual posts about Jerry McNerney's voting record as well as info about organizations that support McNerney that the Pleasanton Weekly would rather you, the voter, not know about.

Conversely, if the tables were turned, I am sure that the PW would be eager to publish any negative info, true or false, about a republican if that info shed a negative light on him or her.

I had a very similar experience. I have posted numerous times without any problem, but when I posted a negative comment regarding McNenery, then it was blocked. What is the explanation, Pleasanton Weekly?

Surprise, surprise - one more biased publication that filters topics, comments that are counter to its staff's personal beliefs.

Pleasanton Weekly still refuses to cover topics like ballooning public employee pensions that are eating into our budget and decreasing services.

It's part of the control of 'only good news', 'no bad news' in the Obama administration. Give-me-a-break John Stossel, Lou Dobbs, were ordered out early in the administration...likely done by Rahm Emanuel. Then the repeated attacks against Fox network. That is so scary....10 days ago when repeatedly from the campaign microphone,k Obama named hed favorite 24/7 cable people...SO, SO, very UNpresidential ! ! So nixonian. TRUMAN had the guts to say, "IF you cannot stand the heat....get OUT of the KITCHEN ! ! ! ! Instead of using a mike, HIDE like McNerney !
