With all due respect, that video is false. Just because you show the background of a book and have a quote over it, doesnt make the quote true. But, to refute the already untrue, Islamic law does NOT have 8 categories the zakat goes too. In fact, most Muslims give their zakat to one organization-the full zakat. It is simply supposed to help the poor.

I am fairly ignorant on all this, but as far as Obama's quote, why is it harder for Muslim's to fulfill their religious obligations? Is it simply because there are limits to 50% of your AGI, or is there something more to this?
Is Obama really talking in Egypt about US charitable donation laws? This would seem to be more of an in house issue.
