Express Lane Speed Limit???

Original post made by Bill, Amberwood/Wood Meadows, on Oct 1, 2010

Does anyone know what the speed limit is on I680 along the Express Lane route? There is exposed and covered 65mph limit signs and exposed and covered 55mph signs.

If the freeway through this section is still at 55mph, what is reason?

Maybe Caltrans can make more money designing speed traps then they can designing toll roads that people will pay to use!

You can go as fast as the car in front of you. There's too much traffic for anyone to catch you!

Or you can go as slow as the car in front of you if you are in the toll lane.
