Just looked at some interesting information. If you buy a hybrid (or electric or diesel) you pay less for registration. Its not a lot less, but I found it interesting that it doesn't really matter what the hybrid is, so if I buy a hybrid Yukon that still only gets 20 mpg you pay less than if you buy a gasoline car that gets 35 mpg. (assuming the same purchase price).
