What a night of music as Pleasanton concert band opens fall season at Firehouse Arts Center

Visitors from Pleasanton's sister-city of Tulancingo, Mexico joined local delegates and scores of good band music fans Thursday night at a foot-stomping, drum beating performance by the Pleasanton Community Concert Band at the city's new Firehouse Arts Center.

I have lived in Pleasanton for many, many years and never thought of Pleasanton as being ritzy or too rich for my blood. However I have heard so many people comment that everyone in Pleasanton thought they were better than everyone else and anyone that lived here was rich and snooty. I have never noticed this but wondered if anyone else felt this way about my town.
