Here's Good News! McNerney's Coming!!
Around Town, posted by unclehomerr.., a resident of the Downtown neighborhood, on Sep 11, 2010 at 11:01 am

Well.. this is what we've all been waiting for.. Jerry's coming for 6 weeks of heavy campaigning. He'll be all over the district ready to see us and answer ALL our questions. As a vulnerable incumbent.. and our representative!, he'll be happy to tell us what he's done for us and listen to our concerns if we send him back.

From yesterday's 'The Hill..'

By Steven T. Dennis and Jessica Brady

Roll Call Staff

Sept. 10, 2010, 12:20 p.m.

House and Senate Democratic leaders are seriously considering adjourning a week earlier than planned — at the end of the month — to allow their vulnerable Members more time to campaign, several aides told Roll Call.

I think Jerry might just have waited too long. If he had answered a couple of my faxes regarding his positions on pending legislation, or been here to debate his position on the Health Care legislation, I might have voted for him. It's too late now....!!

I sent him a carrier pigeon, two smoke signal communiques and stood on my roof sending semaphore signals, but never got a response. Why didn't I think faxing, like Arroyo did? D'oh!

To "Arroyo",

He answered my emails about cracking down on companies that were off-shoring jobs and that we speculating on with our tax dollars using derivatives. I'm with you on the health care vote, though. That was the bill that needed more time and bipartisanship. Unfortunately, we didn't get it. On the balance, I'll take McNerney over Harmer.

Yeah, I forgot about the carrier pigeon I sent. I just figured some marksman wanted a squab dinner and Jerry never got my message.

Have any of you tried email?

Patriot

He does not answer email either. Or maybe not the ones from Pleasanton.

SpeakupJerry must work for Harmer. Why dont you share his funders? The ones who are against the equal rights of our local citizens?

Posted by Chet, a resident of San Ramon, on Sep 12, 2010 at 12:34 pm

Our fine Congressman Jerry McNerney has done a fantastic job for all of us in District 11. Jerry has written bills, lead the fight to get them passed and signed into law that greatly benefit all of us in the district. We need to keep Jerry working for us in Washington, DC and he more than deserves our votes and support this November. We can't ever be fooled again and return to the failed policies of the GOP. They had their chance and it led to the Great Bush/GOP recession.

No way would he share Harmer's source of funding. So Jerry is funded by the working people, huh? I guess that's a bad thing. Better to elect someone in the pocket of out of state interests and corporate fatcats, huh?

There must have been a Kool Aid stand set up this weekend near chet and his friend nursing shark. How do union kickbacks equate to funding by 'working people'? And the blame Bush mantra is really getting old....what has Jerry done to improve the economy? Or Obama, for that matter.......nada.....zilch...nothing. If you want Calif. to continue circling the drain, by all means vote for Jerry.

After all, look at how well 50 years of Dem majorities have turned out for our state.
