Prostitution and Chinese Brothels Stoneridge Apartments

Original post made by Informant on Aug 24, 2010

There has been an investigation and sting operation going on for over a year involving large scale prostitution taking place in large apartment complexes along Stoneridge, as well as a connection to several P-Town "massage" parlours.

One of the disturbing elements is human trafficking and minors being involved. Apparently Pleasanton has an very strong prostitution clients including an appetite for minors. If you are involved with this, do take note that you are being watched via surveillance.

When the investigation wraps up it will be very embarrassing exactly what names come out into the public light!

Eye Opening perhaps or just pompt denial that Pleasanton has it's seedy side.

wow, P-town really knows how to show up the rest of valley.

Did-you-know, that men in Livermore, Oakland and San Jose traveled to Pleasanton prior to the 1940s for hookers? True. Find an honest historian and confirm it.

M. is a registered user.

If you what you are talking about is an ongoing undercover investigation why are you spilling the beans about it in a public forum?
Can you not see how that is counter productive to such an investigation?

I think the original poster "Informant" wants a job at the NY Times where he or she can continue to reveal classified information that undermines our national security, emboldens the enemy, and further advances a democrat strategy to weaken our security.

Nice job @Informant...if the investigation is still ongoing don't you realize you could be hurting it by your post? It is too bad there isn't a law against being stupid...but then I guess our jails would be overflowing more than they are now...

"I think the original poster "Informant" wants a job at the NY Times where he or she can continue to reveal classified information that undermines our national security, emboldens the enemy, and further advances a democrat strategy to weaken our security."

Ruth, you're too much. If the stupidities you write didn't make me laugh, I'd skip your posts.

perhaps it was one of the pimps involved that got busted, she/he got ticked off, and decided to post...it's not only prostitutes that the PPD is dealing with...it's also children who are being trafficked, their pimps, the johns, and guess what else...nice people who support human sexual slavery...perhaps children who are your neighbors are also being sold for a few coins...

Web Link "Prostitution, Research and Education" is an excellent book for anybody interested in understanding how trafficking in women & children works. The book was written by Dr. Melissa Farley of SF.

Dr. Judith Herman of Harvard, "Trauma and Recovery" is also a landmark book that explains how traumatized individuals are impaired.

There is absolutely nothing humorous about how women, girls/boys and adult males are exploited and traumatized by pimps & johns. I hope that the men and women involved in the trafficking of women, children and adult males are caught and prosecuted. Please do everything possible to convict the johns and the pimps. The "prostitutes" are most likely in need of long term rehabilitative services/psychiatric care.

It is NOT a funny matter.

Cholo is correct, it's not at all a funny matter or a joke.

PPD is not running the operation, a special task force is.

The "pimps/human traffickers" are NOT living in the complexes and are way at the top of the chain and relatively benign from any "sting". Sadly the men, woman and children are all to aware of the sting and in some cases they will be lucky in the end. The tragedy as Cholo mentions is the life long scars and the damage from the abuse if these people are luck enough to make it out alive.

Local prominent white male businessman as well as those with "power and privilege" are the majority of the Johns.

Again this Cholo brings up a point and I interject..

"nice people who support human sexual slavery"

I am told that Pleasanton is a quite conservative Tea Partying, constitution preserving, founding fathers movement hub. That is since a man of color has become president!

The FOUNDING FATHERS FULLY supported Human Trafficking and Sexual Slavery of Woman and Children! Again, white males of power and privilege, so goes history.

P.S.

I am a white male but I don't endorse human trafficking or sexual slavery.

If they just legalize prostitution it wouldn't be an issue would it?

Cholo, thanks for the links..

On a recent trip back home to Hawaii, my daughter and I was so surprised when we were told of the trafficking done in Waikiki and to be careful when walking around Waikiki. Trafficker can get the women and childen off the island withing minutes. This is so disturbing.

And to the "informant" shame on you.

If the state would legalize prostitution, require health checks every week like they do in Nevada, and tax it, we would have a lot more money in the state funds. My only requirement would be adults only, no minors.

This business is not going to go away. It will always be a part of the human experience, so why not face reality and use some of the money to our advantage in this state?

Dammit!!! I wish I had seen this post as soon as it went up yesterday. Now it's too late. If it's true that this is a covert operation, and this information has been "leaked" (perhaps illegally), I would have contacted the webmaster of this web page to request removing it. It's one thing to comment on a news story or a press release. It's another thing entirely to put the LIVES of POLICE OFFICERS in danger by posting something like this. To the original poster----you are an idiot.

DO NOT LEGALIZE PROSTITUTION: Web Link

If you're a PIMP or a JOHN, don't count on me to help you legalize human sexual slavery.

Put your skeptics hats on people.

There are five sentences with no details, check-able facts... but a lot of emotional press points.

Lets see: sex, human trafficking, Asians, minors, massage parlors

Insinuation: lots of white middle class guys, Pleasanton Police don't know about it, some mysterious "Task Force" probably delivered in Black Helicopters,

Somebody ties it to the Tea Baggers, unknown informants, New York Times,

What a lot of hokum about somebody's speculative delusions.

BTW: Yes, there is prostitution in Pleasanton, its ridiculous to believe there is a city in the world with 75,000 people and no prostitution.

Is there any shred of evidence to support that Pleasanton has more of a problem than anybody else? Are there more arrests, complaints to the police, even first person anecdotes from your friends... or do you enjoy this public titillation and schadenfreude (presumably you don't think you will be seen on the "videos")?

Enough.

When I first read this even I can see that this post is a deliberate attempt to bring Pleasanton down by someone who does not live here. My question is why? What do you have against P-Town "Informant?"

Some people have nothing else to do but bring doom and gloom ~

I think someone didn't get a happy ending and is trying to sabotage the honest massage parlors in the area.

Do Not Feed The Trolls!

1. You don't need a year-long undercover (no pun intended) investigation to identify brothels. A couple of days, max.

2. Anyone who has ever been involved in UC work knows being made can affect your personal safety and the safety of people close to you; therefore, they are usually not likely to bring operations up in conversations or post on news sites.

DEAR PLUTONIANS: Do everything possible to rid PTown of prostitution. It harms women, children, men, and your entire community. Much of the money exchanged is not reported and is handed over to the pimps.

As for "Do Not Feed the Trolls!" RUBBISH!

"Susie" and "Pinhead"....Next time you try to post a follow-up comment praising yourself, try to change the neighborhood and also wait a few hours to at least make it look like it's someone else commenting.

Mike,

Wrong! It took 3 months just to investigate the child pornographer soccer coach of eight year old girls. The DA needs major evidence and they are looking to get to the top, the traffickers. NO AGENTS are in harms way as a result of the sting as the people at the top are well aware. None of the people at the top have probably ever stepped foot at these locations. The woman and children are used to follow the chain to the top. Further the organization is not specifically using Pleasanton apartments and or massage parlours, this goes far and wide as in International human trafficking. So your comment about "a few days" is way off track.

In fact the intent of posting was to have community awareness and to assist the operation hoping to bring out enslaved victims and more Informants.

Let's put this into perspective as with DRUGS and prostitution they both need people who will buy!!! Your friends and neighbors MUST BE BUYING!

There was prostitution shop right on Main Street. You should have seen all the different guys getting their happy ending. Every walk of life at all times of day and night.
They had to do a "sting" operation just to get the bottom rung of this operation too. I never found out if they ever put the leader in jail or whatever happened to the immigrant girls that "serviced" those guys. We told the police of their activities MONTHS before anything ever got done. So much for being a good citizen...

The fact remains:
The people that go to these kind of places need to be arrested and exposed! They are feeding the chain of human abuse!

So, it doesn't matter if prostitution is legal or not- paying for sex with a minor ruins that young person's life. Keep your eyes and ears open for this - I'm sure it's all over the place not just at Stoneridge. Landlords! Do your due diligence- do NOT RENT TO THIS KIND OF OPERATION!
