Great Chet, SS is on Jerry McNerney's mind! At the rate we are going, the only SS money available will be for the militrary survivors.

I hope he will back reforms to Social Security so that the rest of us Americans who are paying in will have something paid back to us when we retire!

As of now, the Democrats led by Pelosi, Obama and Reid are using Social Security reform as a fear mongering tactic in the November elections, accusing any Republican who mentions SS reform of wanting to destroy Social Security as we know it.

The fact is if the federal government does not make meaningful reforms and change Social Security as we know it, the average voter will not get any social security check upon retirement.
