Holy cow! How did they ever figure this one out! This guy is obviously of "very high intelligence"? I don't understand how they ever caught him? Huh?

They should plaster this guy's photo all over the news and the internet with the caption: DOOP!!!

What a loser!

I hope they are also investigating the possibility that this employee might have been involved in a rash of boxes disappearing from doorsteps around town, right after they were dropped off and before the recipient had a chance to collect them. Not sure if the majority of those cases were UPS or FedEx, but it sure sounded like the result of an "inside job". As someone who packed the outgoing trucks, he'd sure have an opportunity to tip someone off to valuable shipments that weren't requiring signatures for delivery.

It just makes me so mad that I can ALWAYS guess who did it! They are uncivilized animals who simiply don't know how to go about life in an honest and humane way. It's always "what's mine is theirs"...we need to put up a barrier so they can't come in! Let them rob and kill each other (Comment deemed inappropriate by Pleasanton Weekly Online staff)

Wow. I am really disturbed at the extreme prejudice here. There are bad people of all races. Put up a fence to keep them out?? Really? I think maybe we should put up a fence to keep out all white dentists because their wife might have sex with our teenage sons. If you want to know what is wrong with this country start by looking in the mirror. There should be no place in this country for several of the posters on this board. Geesh.

The fact that people are so blatantly ignorant in the year 2010 is what is really "disgusting". Racist comments such as those posted by "Disgusted" are at the heart of the problems with our society.

What do we do with these other criminals? Shall we let them in because of the color of their skin? Grow up!

My husband was walking out of work, Business offices near Los Positas (I think the same area) and there was a police chase with lots of police cars chasing a Truck. I wonder if there is a connection...

PLEASANTON -- A man fleeing Alameda County sheriff's deputies conducting a prostitution sting Wednesday crashed into a tree in Pleasanton after a short chase.
About 7:30 p.m., five people in an SUV pulled up at a Castro Valley hotel at which undercover deputies were conducting the sting, said Sgt. J.D. Nelson, spokesman for the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.
A woman got out of the car, as did the driver. When deputies went to talk to the driver, who was standing on the sidewalk, a passenger later identified as Maurice Buckley jumped into the driver's seat and took off with two other people still inside, authorities said.
Nelson said Buckley nearly ran over parole agents and sheriff's deputies as he fled. Deputies pursued the SUV on eastbound Interstate 580, but they called off the chase after they learned the identity of the driver.
About 7:50 p.m., Pleasanton police received a report of an injury crash at West Las Positas Boulevard and Hacienda Drive. Buckley had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree there, Nelson said. He fled on foot but was found nearby. He was arrested on a no-bail felony warrant on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury, as well as on suspicion of assault, evading police and for violating his probation.
Buckley and the two others in the car were taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley for treatment of various injuries. One of the passengers was a

16-year-old runaway from the Sacramento area and a potential pimping victim, Nelson said. Her parents were notified.

Be rightly upset at a person who would post a racist comment, but are you not labeling/demonizing a whole society or at least saying it's a major or serious problem with our society?

As a person of color in this society, I like our society!

Per conversations and get-togethers with my friends and neighbors of many backgrounds, I can also testify, we like our society!

Don't get me wrong, there are some racist in all races of our society, but nowadays they are the minority in our society and are given the credence and seriousness of an uncle who says crazy things at a family reunion. The crazy uncles will always be here, so how much more of an inclusive and tolerant society than ours would you want?

We tolerate "crazy uncles" at dinner because their views stay within the house, and we're all family. However, if I had guests at the table, it's appropriate to tell him to shut up, and show him the door if he keeps it up. He he persists, then the only appropriate choice is to leave with your guests.

In this case, we need to tell "Disgusted" to go somewhere else with his comments. We're certainly not family, and I don't tolerate that crap from friends or strangers.
