It's wonderful they have these concerts - but do they ever switch the bands. We've seen most bands at least 3 times. Are they getting paid?

The concerts are a great thing if only some of the entitled masses in this town would play by the rules. No tarps you morons!!! Has anyone else noticed that there are dead spots in the lawn that now last for the whole summer? Just because you are SOOOOO special that you want to put your blanket down on the still wet lawn does not mean that you have the right to kill the grass with your tarp. Is it too much to expect that these idiots would read the "no tarps" signs all over the park? Oh, right, that's no tarps for the rest of you dirtbags but I am special.
The music may last past the actual permit time of 8:30 and usually that's great, we like to stay a little longer too. But that does not mean that people can keep on drinking, laughing, yelling and throwing bottles all night long. One friend who lives on First Street has had trash and beer bottles thrown in his yard after nearly every concert this year. How long do you think he will put up with this without calling the PD and making a big deal about shutting down on time and clearing out the park?
So how about a little less entitlement and a little more courtesy from the people who go to the concerts. I would miss having them but with enough jerks constantly breaking the rules it just might happen.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
