Caltrans calls "Old Glory" graffiti State, National, International, posted by Unbelievable, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on Jul 3, 2010 at 12:08 am
It's hard to believe a 'nameless' CalTrans supervisor would give the order to paint over a rather sacred 9-1-1 flag on the Sunol grade hill....and that the workers would be stupid enough to do it.
I ache at the thought of all of us working several jobs to be able to pay all our assorted taxes to provide these nitwits with deluxe retirements that we can only fantasize about.
Thank you Arnold, for condeming Caltrans errors and working on a plan for commuters to get back their bright spot in a nasty commute.

Cholo, "nothing sacred about paint on concrete". Oh, REALLY ?? So it's not that flag gets your allegiance ? That sure explains your anti-American talk IS for real !

No one is contesting whether or not Caltrans had the right to paint over the flag - what is being questioned is the choice in timing for re-painting it.

It is graffiti and the painters should have been nailed when it was done originally. At least when it was painted, a tv news crew taped them so it could be used in court for defacing state property.
Just as bad as people flying those flags on their homes. Distracts from the scenery.
