Police activity at ruby hills
Around Town, posted by Jackie, a resident of the Mission Park neighborhood, on Jun 28, 2010 at 9:23 am

Driving down vineyard yesterday there were 2 police cars off the side of the road, writing down in their little black books and then at the front of the entrance of ruby hills another police car.

Anyone know why?

Is Pleasanton that much of a nosy town that you need to ask? If you didn't get a ticket, you don't need to know.

Please be awear of the area that you are talking about is called "Ruby Hill" there is no s on the end.

Mr. Mr.: Since we are critiqueing the spelling, please be aware that the "e" in aware comes at the end of the word and not in the middle.

When it comes to police activity and crime, I don't see it as being nosey. It's simply about being aware of safety issues in one's community.

And just to add a little more:

Critiquing.....not critiqueing

need to drop the e on this one....

Reading the comments posted here gives me as much laughter as the comics. Thanks for making my mornings..

I don't see it as being "nosy", I see it as wanting to be "informed". I remember an article recently about a couple arrested in the Laguna Oaks neighborhood because a "nosy" neighbor thought they were up to no good...and they were!

I will admit, for such a well educated community, the spelling and grammer on this forum is atrocious...

Just for the record, the sign on Isabel Avenue/Highway 84....identifies it as "Ruby Hills" and so that's why some people are confused. Cut people some slack...

As far as the initial question and Nancy S. comments....the question wasn't about pointing out to the authorities questionable behavior/suspicions about activities, it was about why police cars were outside the Ruby Hill gate. All's I can say is if you need to know something, read the local newspaper for police activity or maybe go down to the P-town PD and ask them????
