I don't know why PW still hasn't reported this story yet when it already made its way to the front page on yahoo.com. Crimes like these need to be reported to the community ASAP so we all can be on the watch for these thugs. We need to be more vigilant and report these thugs when we spot them. They obviously have no reason to be here.

PLEASANTON — Police are searching for a man who grabbed a woman Friday morning, but drove away without her after his intended victim quickly fought back, police said.
The woman, a 24-year-old Pleasanton resident, was walking to work on Andrews Drive around 8 a.m. when a black car pulled up along side her. The driver of the vehicle asked the woman if he could ask her a question, said Sgt. Scott Rohovit. Thinking the man needed directions, the woman walked closer to the vehicle.
The driver got out of his car and grabbed the woman's forearm, police said, but she pushed her attacker away using her shoulder and forearm and yelled, "Stop!" The man immediately returned to his car and drove away.
"She showed good judgment to make a quick reaction," Rohovit said. "It startled the guy and that helped."
Because the man fled so quickly, police are unsure if he was attempting to rob the woman or force her into his car. The woman, whose identity was not released, was uninjured.
The man was described to police as a black male between the ages of 25 and 30. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 to 230 pounds with a muscular build, police said. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt and a black "do-rag" covering his head. His vehicle was described as an early 1990s black, four-door sedan with a dirty grey interior, police said.
