QUESTION: Why are we drilling in 5,000 feet of water vs. shallower water where any spills are much easier to contain?
ANSWER: Democrat Environmentalists have forced offshore oil drilling into very deep waters.

My neighbor was criticizing the republicans and said that if they were in charge, things would be a lot worse.
My response? If Bush were still in charge (yikes!), I would actually expect the slow response and lack of action about the spill that is going on. But with the democrats in charge, I expected better than just having Obama show up WEEKS AFTER the spill happened to accomplished absolutely nothing and pretend he cares or knows about it!
So what is worse? We definitely need a new political party. Both reps and dems are out of control and completely incompetent!!!!
