It's a good thing there are so many people out of work these days so that there are people at home to watch out for the scum and villainy!

Where's one of those gun-toting rednecks when you need one???

Where?? Sittin' on the couch with my .45 in my lap, and not answering the door.

Do you think I should go out and patrol the neighborhood??

I never answer the door unless I am expecting someone, just don't want to be bothered. But, like unclehomerr, I have more than one gun easily reachable and have spent many years using them. Common gun wisdom is that you never point one unless you are fully willing to take a life . . . . and I have no problem at all with that. Come into my house uninvited and leave in a plastic coroner's bag.
