Low Income Housing Around Town, posted by Tim, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on May 5, 2010 at 8:27 am
I'm wondering why Pleasanton is "under the gun" to provide more low income housing. Do other cities in our area already meet the guidelines? For example, does Danville provide a lot of low income housing? Alamo? Moraga? etc.? Are we the only "bad guys" in our area?

Why Pleasanton? Ask PLEASANTON RESIDENT Sandra De Gregorio for an explanation of why Urban Habitat fought the case on her behalf:
"The case, Urban Habitat v. City of Pleasanton was brought by nonprofit law firm and advocacy group Public Advocates Inc. on behalf of Pleasanton resident Sandra De Gregorio and regional environmental justice organization Urban Habitat."

Who is this woman? Why are we waisting so much money on these whiners that is better spent with our schools? I am so sick of 1 person feeling that they deserve what everyone else has and doesn't do a damn thing to fix their own situation (better job, education, etc.) so they just find a lawyer who will sue. F'ing joke!

SANDRA DE GREGORIO has several alias' (White, De Gregorio, Valverde)and about 6 or 7 addresses (read: perpetual renter)in the tri valley, boulder creek and North Carolina! Probably grew up in affluence on a tobacco farm in North Carolina, and now gonna save the world! Probably never purchased a home with money she has EARNED, outside of Probably went to UC Santa Cruz, and now gonna save the world!inheritance! Other than that I'm sure she is a very stable person. Last I heard she was dating Cholo! Of course this is all speculation and overt "profiling" on my part....and does not reflect the views of this newspaper!
