Do we want BIG Gov? State, National, International, posted by Why?, a resident of the Country Fair neighborhood, on May 2, 2010 at 6:47 am
"As if to cut off mounting criticism, on Saturday White House spokesman Robert Gibbs posted a blog entitled "The Response to the Oil Spill," laying out the administration's day-by-day response since the explosion, using words like "immediately" and "quickly," and emphasizing that Obama "early on" directed responding agencies to devote every resource to the incident and determining its cause."
YES, in a case of disaster, we not only want Big Gove but we want it NOW!

I think it is time to admit that Obama is just a joke and no different than any other politician except that his inexperience and handlers make him quite dangerous.

Obama is certainly doing better on this issue than Bush did with Katrina.
Yesterday I was reminded of Thomas Jefferson, who was paraphrased by Obama in two public appearances in the last week, that those who assail BIG government are forgetting one major factor: In a democracy, we are all the government.

This is inexcusable! Obama should have been there on day one, hovering over the oil spill in a helicopter or something! Why should he have waited until it approached land?
