Did I miss the spring Free Electronic E-Waste day at the Fairgrounds?

Original post made by Pleasantonian, Mission Park, on Apr 22, 2010

I keep waiting for a notice in the mail and/or in the paper and wonder if I missed it. I tried to google it but didn't find anything.
Thanks in advance for any information.

There's nothing on the city website about the one for this year (last year's was on 4/17), so I'd contact the city. The number listed for the yearly city-sponsored E-Waste event is 925-931-5002. Good luck!

Pleasantonian is a registered user.

Thanks for the info. I called the number and it is actually
next weekend April 30, May 1st and 2nd. She said it was on
the city website but I sure remember getting postcards and
emails about it in the past.

Hart is sponsoring an e-recycling event this weekend.
Also, Best Buy, I've heard, will take electronic items for recycling regardless of whether they were purchased at Best Buy or elsewhere.
