From what I saw at the Fairgrounds just now, I would have to say those numbers don't jibe. More like 100% white, 99% aged 45 and over. And despite being "taxed to death," no one there appears to be on the verge of starvation...

Antoinette,
Why lie? You were not there because if you were you would have noticed that there were a lot of young folks there and children in strollers. Please bring something constructive to these forums if you want to be taken seriously.

Nice to see Pleasanton is the new hub for right-wing bigots in California. With this Tea Party, our town has really sealed the deal for becoming the laughing stock of the Bay Area. Thanks Bridget Melson!

Rat Turd,
Thanks for calling me a liar--you've totally disproven my belief that Tea Partiers lack class.
As to your question: I don't consider children in strollers to be activists in a political movement. If you've been counting them to inflate your numbers, well, that probably explains a lot.
In the future, please bring a realistic world view to these forums if you want to be taken seriously.

Antoinette,
You are more than welcome and I am always happy to call a liar a liar. By the way, if you were actually there you would have seen that young mothers were pushing those strollers. What does don't jibe mean? I have a question for you to deeply reflect on if you are capable. You seen to think that being white and against high taxes and lack of representation makes one a racist for some reason. Here is the question. 96% of blacks give President Obama favorable marks for job performance. Are all black racist?

Scary site! It's the same group of wealth, white, people that gathered at the fairgrounds during Arnold's campaign stop. And we all know how well that worked out.
Still wondering about their battle cry of "Socialism" and "Govt. takeover", yet no one better touch their Medicare or Medicad.

Man oh man. I thought I was going to come on Pleasanton Weekly and find a ton of posts supporting the Tea Party. What a wonderful surprise to see that not all of Pleasanton is blinded by conservative thought.
I drove by the fairgrounds and took a look. It was embarrassing for me to see mostly white people in the crowd. With all of the facts, I just don't see how the Tea Party can be seen as anything but racism.

Thanks for the pics Antoinette. Is it just me or does anyone else think someone who wears the flag as an outfit is tacky? Seems rather disrespectful to me. If this is how tea baggers honor the flag, they should really rethink that.

Janna, you should be happy with the direction of the country. Are you still bottom feeding and living on public assistance waiting for a job to fall out of the sky for you husband while you work away on the internet. You should be phrasing those Tea Party people because without them working and paying taxes you would be eating cat food.

Bobby is just tired of paying taxes to support deadbeats like Janna who is on public assistance and teachers who just have their hands out for more money. Neither group is thankful that they are allowed to do nothing like Janna or the minimum like teachers.

Did you mean you should be praising them?
Oh they're so great! They're the only people in this whole country working hard right? Pfft! If I thought those people were here to save the country (eight years too late) I'd gag! They are complaining about government healthcare all the while accepting Medicare! How stupid does that make them? Pretty damn stupid.
Bobby, you should really learn to comprehend while reading. You are so wrong about so many things. I really just don't have the inclination to correct your misconceptions.

Hey Blobby-
I have never claimed to be on public assistance. That's all in your imagination. But keep saying it because we know that's the only way you get your kind of people to believe it.

Janna, tell us again about how upset you were when you could not take advantage of healthy kids program or how you are staying home with the kids and will not look for a job because it is important that you hang on the computer all day while you husband who is still out of work refuses to look outside of the area for a job. When you do something to contribute financially to the country come back and talk to us. Come on Janna tell all of again your circumstances. Please do.

He doesn't know jack! Not that its anyone's business, but both my children have health care though the state. That is not living on public assistance but thanks for playing "I have no idea what I'm talking about!" Bobby.
He just likes to claim I'm some sort of loser because I'm broke and have been living on credit and cashed out our retirement due to my husband's job loss. I'm about to sell my car so I can feed my kids and keep paying my bills, but I'm sure Bobby would rather people like me just die off quietly. Now that's sick!
People like him really enjoy kicking people when they're down and out. He knows nothing. Yet, he is somehow better than me.
Do you know what it's like to realize that you can no longer afford to exist day to day? Think about that for a minute.
Maybe Bobby owns a company that's hiring? Maybe he should try helping peple rather trying to boost himself up by putting others down.
Love the assumptions that those who can't find jobs just don't want to work. What complete crap!
