Jerry McNerney, is it yes or no?

Original post made by jimf01 on Mar 9, 2010

Jerry McNerney said last month that he he would not vote in favor of the Senate version of the Health Care Reform bill if it comes back to the House. Political winds may be now blowing our wind expert in a different direction.

Now that his comment has received national attention, his spokesperson is backtracking on his behalf. She said it would be wrong to say though that he would vote no on the Senate Health Care bill without the fixes right now.

McNerney voted yes in November when the House voted in November.

"Audience members decried the health insurance industry's plans to raise premiums next year and the prohibitive cost of healthcare for those who are uninsured," Michael Moore of The Morgan Hill Times wrote, "McNerney criticized the current version of healthcare reform passed by the U.S. Senate for the deals it makes with certain states, its lack of a public option and the inadequate number of people it extends coverage to. He said he would not vote in favor of that version of the bill if it comes back to the House."

McNerney has proven he is a radical Leftist, the Pelosi of Pleasanton. McNerney ran as a moderate and pulled the wool over many moderate Democrats, Independents and Republicans. Boy have we been enlightened and won't be fooled again!

Nancy intimidates Jerry way too much. He'll vote however Nancy wants him to...in this case obviously in favor of socialist healthcare.

(Oh, by the way, remember that "Jer" voted against the Republican measure which would have required Congress to have the same quality (or lack of) as the general public would have with Obamacare.

Here is another update, according to Sarah Hersh, he is NOT a no. Jerry McNerney is not yet a yes, but he is not a no.
Clear as mud. Jerry appears to be investigating whether or not he can vote present.

Are the elected officials working for the people or for their own agenda? If majority of the people are against this Healthcare Reform, why is Pelosi and Reid forcing it down people's throats? Health Insurance - the poor even the illegals get free healthcare today from the CLINICS (even in Pleasanton!) Will all these Clinics cost US Taxpayers $1 Trillions over 10 years? I doubt it.. So where is BEEF? Maybe we should send some cow patties up the hill... Good Idea? Stop this Madness!
