Know a good local doctor for adult ADHD?

Original post made by Resident, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Mar 4, 2010

Can anyone recommend a good local doctor (MD, not psycologist) who can treat/manage adult ADHD?

Yes I do, but I have to

Wait a minute; is that a new pickup truck?

Oh look a dog!

I have to try that restaurant sometime soon.

What was the question again?

SteveP is a registered user.

Did you already see a psychologist and receive a diagnosis? Usually, you start there, then you see an MD to recevie a prescription and follow up.
Sandy Frawley is a good psychologist, although expensive.

Yes, we already have a diagnosis. And we would agree that Sandy is a great therapist.

We need an MD to prescribe meds.

Not sure if local means in Pleasanton, but I'd recommend Michelle Banducci with East Bay Psychopharmacology in San Ramon.
