Sullenberger retiring?

Original post made by Qwerty, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Mar 3, 2010

I read a brief news story today on the web that said Sullenberger is retiring. I was surprised in some respects because a year ago he mentioned how he was looking forward to "returning to his profession".

Has anyone seen other news stories with more details? It seems that Sullenberger would have a great opportunity to capitalize on his achievements last year to expand his consulting work or perhaps write a book, etc.
