Greenpeace Founder "need many nuclear plants"

Original post made by Hi Tech on Feb 8, 2010

Listen to scientist Dr. Patrick Moore, Founder of GreenPeace speak on the US need for many nuclear power plants ASAP...to save the country. Dr Moore long has disassociated himself from the organization as it became more radically extreme and UNscientific.
To support a world class economy...plus adding electric cars, America needs more & better sources of electricity....primarily more new nuclear plants, as China, Russia, India, & Eupore are doing.
Dr Moore gave a 50 minute interview with callers,Saturday 2/6, on Bob Brinker's Money Talk show. You can listen repeatedly until 3:00 next Saturday.
GOOGLE:. KGO AM810 radio ARCHIVES . next page click archives again. Next SATurday, hour 3:00 PM. When the sound bar comes up, drag right a bit to about 3:09 and LISTEN. To the ignorant, he explains the difference between fision & fusion. He explains France REcycles & REuses residue from 21 of their reactors. 50 yrs of fuel becomes 500 years !!! He challenged the "irony" & "hypocrisy" of those who most want different and more power..should be the most ardent supporters of new nuclear. He clarified that 'green' is SO MISused. re renewable, sustainale, clean. Solar is renewable, but made with dirty, non-renewable materials. Burning wood is not clean, but IS renewable. Google and listen, easily plays & repeats for your understanding....takes just a minute. Will be pulled on Sat.

You can't fight the Green(Gore) People. Nuclear power...no good, can't get rid of the waste. Wind power...no good, kills the birds. Hydro-electric...no good it kills the fish. Solar power...I can't get my neighbor to trim his trees. Off-shore drilling...do you want to start a revolution. And God forbid that you burn anything in your fireplace. How did we get here? If these people were around a hundred years ago, we wouldn't even have aspirin.
