Original post made by Bob, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Dec 22, 2009

I submit to you that Democrats do not care about anything but their power over our lives and the lives of our children. They (and the NEA) DO NOT CARE about providing quality education for our children! Read on...

Bob, how well informed are you about voucher programs? Are you viewing these programs from a political view? Voucher programs give families the opportunities to select their school of choice- but do you think those schools are going to except them just because they have federally backed dollars? Private schools are not obligated to accept these students on vouchers. And isn't the intentions of all schools- private or public- that they serve the entire public and not the desire of a select individual? If you're curious, go search the nations largest teacher unions and learn about their stand on vouchers- they disagree with them. They say that vouchers take away the funds needed to educate children in public schools. Hmmm, sounds like to me another way for any political party to create a complaint about this side not doing this or that side not doing that.

This game of "catch" is getting old...

What a shock: Republicans are pro-vouchers, Democrats are anti-vouchers. This should not be a surprise to anyone. I read this story and I yawn.
