Nutcracker at the Bankhead - 7 performances!
Around Town, posted by Dancer & Prancer, a resident of the Birdland neighborhood, on Dec 10, 2009 at 8:41 am

This is the 30th anniversary of the Nutcracker presented by the Valley Dance Theatre of Livermore. Accompanied by the Livermore-Amador Symphony Pit Orchestra, this full-length ballet is a holiday treat that shouldn't be missed. Local dancers (Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin & beyond) ranging in age from 5 years to (a-hem!) 30 something years have honed their classical ballet skills for years in preparation for this treat. Costumes are hand-made by master seamstresses and have been featured in numerous publications.

The Bankhead Theater in Livermore doesn't have a bad seat, and prices range from $24 to $33 per person. With 7 performances to choose from, including 4 matinees that are ideal for young children, you just don't have a good excuse to miss this. Tickets can be purchased online at Web Link, or, take a chance and show up at the box office this weekend or next for the most memorable event of the year.

And stick around after the performance to meet your favorite performers in the Bankhead lobby!
