Who's paying for our Governor to go to Iraq?

Original post made by Tango, Vineyard Avenue, on Nov 16, 2009

I now it's great for our troups morale for celebrrities to visit them, but shouldn't our Governor be here to take care of the problems we have in our state? If he is paying for the trip out of his own pocket. Great!, but if we are paying for it , Not so great. As a side to this subject. Boy does President Obama like to travel and be in the spotlight. I think he may have traveled more than any other Pres. in his first year.

I keep waiting for Obama to do something positive other than rank up miles on airforce one. Does Al Gore know about all of this travel? I have a bigger question. Arnie and our legislature has California so messed up why would any country want him to visit them to help?

Yeah, I agree, Obama should stay home and clear more brush and get in a few more Mt. Bike rides. All those trips to try to repair fragile relationships with world leaders so damaged over the past 8 years are just a waste of tax-payers money. Who needs the rest of the world. We can go it alone. Forget China our biggest trading partner. Forget the Middle East and its supply of oil. Forget the EU and all their common interests. Who needs them. USA..USA.USA - woot, woot, woot!

Hey Moron, If you watched the news you would have known it was paid for by private businessmen in California...For Christ's sake, get a clue

So now our Governator is beholden to private enterprise in Ca. What are they getting back for paying for this little jaunt?
