PLEASANTON — Two men were arrested Friday morning after an alert resident called police reporting a suspicious vehicle circling the neighborhood, police said.
After receiving the 3:15 a.m. call, an officer found a white Ford pickup truck in the 1600 block of East Gate Way, said Pleasanton Police Lt. Mike Elerick. Two men jumped into the car and drove away. The officer stopped the truck at Bernal and Valley avenues. Inside the truck were two GPS devices and a box of porcelain rocks — a typical burglary tool used to break windows — in the men's possession.
The duo, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, both from San Jose, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
One of the GPS units matched one that was reported stolen in Pleasanton, Elerick said, and added that it is important that residents report suspicious activity they see in their neighborhoods.

Stacey,
People who use BART to commit crimes in our City commit they're crimes near the BART Station for a quick getaway. Crime has gone up in our City since the BART station opened up. The FBI Statistics prove that.
