Where to get a flu shot in town?
Around Town, posted by Amy, a resident of the Birdland neighborhood, on Oct 22, 2009 at 4:39 pm

I was hoping to get some ideas on where I can get an adult flu shot (if you also know where the H1N1 is being dispensed that would be great too)

I'd like it to be in or around Pleasanton.

Thanks!

Kaiser has seasonal and H1N1 (for those under 50yrs old), and Pleasanton UrgentCare has shots for those 60yrs and older (call first because 10-22-09 was supposed to be the last day). Forget ValleyCare. You might try Safeway. Urgent Care 925-462-9300, Safeway in Dublin 925-551-5600.

I got an appointment at the clinic set up by the Pleasanton PTA

Here's info on the H1N1 - available for uninsured individuals "swine flu shot clinic":Web Link

I have insurance, so I am still waiting for my doc and my daughter's doc to get them in. Washing hands like crazy!
