We must get out of Afghanistan and soon!

Original post made by Einstein on Oct 17, 2009

I will support President Obama 100% if we get out of Afghanistan and now! It is a killing field and everyday I hear about more of our poor boys getting killed over in a country which is corrupt and has not be tamed and even been made peaceful.

"The latest military deaths come as Obama debates whether to send thousands of additional troops to the impoverished country on top of 21,000 extra forces he committed after taking office this year."

How long will we have to wait until Obama makes a decision?

I agree with the California senator who said we either get out or send the troops requested. This is not a situation where you go half way, and it is definitely not the time to take forever to make a decision. Obama has let many people down, please let not lose more lives because of Obama's inability to make a decision.

4 young americans were killed just yesterday in Afghanistan and they are corrupt and do not even want us there but want our money which we do not have. We CNN to bring back their scrolling pictures of our fallen soldiers so we can put pressure Obama to end these deadend wars!!!! You listening media?

Re: "please let not lose more lives because of Obama's inability to make a decision"

I should prolly take a moment to remind everyone that it took bush nearly 3 months to finally come to a decision on whether to pursue the surge strategy in iraq. Though I was against the surge (I saw it as bush just buying time so he wouldn't have to withdraw from Iraq while he was still in office, and i still think that), the surge dovetailed nicely into the Anbar Awakening when the sunni's finally rejected the scourge of Alqaeda in Iraq. Anyway, my point is Obama has been formulating this strategy for only a few weeks. Let the man make the right decision rather than the quick decision...

CNN does still acknowledge casualties on a regular basis.

I'm sorry, I meant to say fatalities.
