Biden: "This is an example of your future!" (He was Right!)
State, National, International, posted by Biden was Right, a resident of the Amador Estates neighborhood, on Sep 12, 2009 at 8:37 am

Biden's symbol of the stimulus funds lays off employees. (Read below) Joe Biden was certainly right! Biden stated "This is picture of your future" thanks to the Obama Admin -- including McNerney's votes -- and the 'brilliant' Stimulus Package.

ST. CLOUD - It was just five months ago that Vice President Joe Biden made the New Flyer bus factory here a symbol of the stimulus. With several Cabinet secretaries in tow, he held a town-hall-style meeting at the Minnesota factory, where he praised the company as "an example of the future" and said that it stood to get more orders for its hybrid electric buses thanks to the $8.4 billion that the stimulus law devotes to mass transit.

But in August, the company that administration officials had pictured as a stimulus success story began laying off 320 people, or 13 percent of its workforce, having discovered how cutbacks at the state level can dampen the boost provided by the federal stimulus money.

Yes you are right and it is wild in thinking that they only market for these buses is the government and the government has no money because they kill the private sector and thus no government taxes. Geniuses these guys are.

I see there are not many replies on this thread. To me this means that your topic was right on target and that there is little the Democrats can defend.

The Democrats' policies and programs are bankrupting America and are hurting our economy immensely. The unfortunate truth here is that even Democrats in Congress realize this but keep on spending America into further debt because it is their intent to collapse our economy.

You're right Jeff. I've noticed too that when the facts are too much to ignore, the pro-big government posters disappear. Not even a "look, the stimulus plan saved 87% of those jobs."

I wonder if in the future without business or job growth we can expect unemployment at a minimum of 10% to be the norm rather than the exception?
