Today--and this date, particularly--represents the latest round of repeated, single-digit dates for almost a century, until January 1, 2101.

So what about 10-10-10, 11-11-11, 12-12-12? 090909 is not a big deal! The most significant date is 121212............which is the last time digits can be repeated for almost a century. Single digits? Ho Hum!!!
