Wash Angela St

Original post made by Downtown Resident, Downtown, on Sep 6, 2009

Anyone notice how filthy the section of Angela street has become since the Farmer's market. Any plans to powerwash, clean or repave?

Pleasanton's street sweeping schedule for September shows downtown gets swept Mondays and Fridays. However, if there still is residue remaining from the Farmers' Market, I suggest you contact the Street Department and ask for a power wash of that area of Angela Street. I'm sure merchants on that street would also appreciate your assistance in contacting the city.

When is the city going to require that the burned out house in the 800 block of East Angela be torn down? It was last December that our block was rocked by the explosion that destroyed this house. The poor neighbors on either side have to face and smell this burned out shell every day. When we take our daily walk by the house every day, we are in disbelief that the city allows this eyesore to remain.

When is the city going to round up the unicorns that seem to be multiplying like rabbits? East Angela Neighbor, why don't you call the city and ask them what is happening? I am sure there is a logical reason.
