a husband CAN starve his wife if she refuses to have sex
State, National, International, posted by Womans Rights, a resident of the Downtown neighborhood, on Aug 16, 2009 at 9:38 am

An Afghan bill allowing a husband to starve his wife if she refuses to have sex has been published in the official gazette and become law.

Just how PATHETIC is that? Sex for food? Total mind control. Public beatings of woman.

We need to commit to finishing the job in Afghanistan. The terrorist ARE trained there and we need to say for now, as well as continue in Pakistan, where we should have gone in the first place, as that’s where the 911 guy’s were funded and the Country of origin.

However Iraq had little if any to do with 911 and is a beyond hopeless effort in my opinion.

Ithink you need to read the article again."The original bill caused outrage earlier this year, forcing Afghan President Hamid Karzai to withdraw it." It continues "There was a review process - Karzai came under huge pressure from all over the world to amend this law, but many of the most oppressive laws remain," Rachel Reid, the Human Rights Watch representative in Kabul, told the BBC. Women's groups say its new wording still violates the principle of equality that is enshrined in their constitution."

This article is more propaganda for the war and either you are a "sucker dupe" or part of that machine. How many of those supposed women that you claim you want to save would be saved as opposed to how many innocent lives would be saved if the attack were to be called off. And the 9-11 guys live right here in the good old USA. Get a clue 9-11 was an inside job.

To quote you: "However Iraq had little if any to do with 911 and is a beyond hopeless effort in my opinion."

So why did we kill Iraq then, and you want more. INSANE This is the same kind of lies got us into Iraq the first time, remember the story about the Iraqis unplugging the life support machines for the premature babies in Kuwait? USA State Department fabricated lies. The turning point of Americas public opinion to attack Iraq. I admit, I bought it then, but no more. WAKE-UP

In the USA a man can murder his wife and get away with it. Remember OJ?

the best way to take care of the problem in afganistan is to give everyone a gun, seal the borders and come back in a month. The group will then be small enough to deal with easily.

Its amazing that anyone can turn any article into a "Get Out of Iraq" segment.

just to be clear, I think we should be out of everywhere - we need to protect and defend the shores of these United States. We do not need to implement democracy into other countries, we can barely keep it here ourselves (Rep. Massa: I will vote against the interests of my district ). Protect our borders and our freedoms!

She should be skinny by now, but Rome wasn’t built in a day!
