Pretty pathetic I must say. What the hell are we really doing in Afghanistan and Iraq? These pictures show that we as humans, really enjoy causing suffering to other non American Humans as we treat them worse than farm animals. These pictures are horrific!
This is what you won't see on CNN or on MSNBC or CBS News or on any major media Web site anywhere and especially no goddamn way ever in hell will you see it within a thousand miles of Fox News.
You aren't supposed to see. You aren't supposed to know. You are to remain ignorant and shielded, and, if you're like most Americans, you have been very carefully conditioned to think the nasty Iraq war is merely this ugly little firecracker-like thing happening way, way over there, carefully orchestrated and somewhat messy and maybe a little bloody but mostly still patriotic and good and necessary and sponsored by none other than God his own angry Republican self.
And hence you and I both have no real idea what the hell goes on in Iraq, no real images to gnaw on and be deeply horrified and saddened by, except for maybe a tiny handful of carefully sanitized snapshots of bombed-out Iraqi cities and maybe some grainy video of U.S. soldiers enjoying a dusty game of pickup football and a turkey dinner at the posh military digs way, way outside of Baghdad.
If you think that's what it's all been about, if you really think war is just this tragic but necessary evil that contains some unfortunate violence and regrettable death but is nonetheless still full of righteous democratic American truth, you have been wildly misled and deeply deceived and might want to consider a nice intellectual emetic. You and Dubya both.
Maybe this should be the rule: If you can't handle seeing what really goes on in a war, maybe you don't deserve to support it. If you can't stomach the truths of what our soldiers are doing and how brutally and bloodily they're dying and in just what manner they have to kill those innocent Iraqi civilians .

gee's Dawn (little girl) - what did you think was going on? Did the photos surprise you? Take a look around this country and you'll find some pretty horrific stuff. Don't need to wait for someone to find it for you if you really want to know. oh ya - when you find it, don't kid yourself into thinking there's nothing that could have been done to stop it.

The one with the group of guys posing with the charred remains of a person disturbed me the most. You would think they were posing with a player at a ballgame!
I hope they get the guys coming back from these conflicts some couch time! It frightens me to think these boys will be dumped back into the public after having been de-sensitized to another human beings suffering to THAT degree

I was aware of this stuff and I totally agree. The military totally de sensitizes there kids. Many of them are coming back severely mentally caput and or committing suicide when they return.
It’s known fact that they start to just shoot up everyone in sight over time as they are on such high alert and mentally keyed up. Some do kill for the thrill of it as the pictures and videos show.
There are so many pictures of soldiers smashing in peoples half blown off heads! The pictures that bother me most are the 100s of little children and babies literal with half their face blown off or their guts and brains spinning out, in the hospital.
So what are we doing, playing “turkey shoot” like that sniper said in the video, then trying to patch up the blown apart woman and children?
Many say this is the price of freedom in America and I think that’s B.S.

There are reports out there (I believe the videos that I watched were on U-TUBE) that our government is recruiting returning veternans psycos for law enforcement jobs here in the states. Other vets that had taken law enforcement jobs said they ended quitting because it got so bad that they were driven out for being good cops.
We, the Americans are the true terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan, Everywhere. Yeah, right, we are over there fighting for our freedom and spreading the love. Don't you know, that everywhere in the world us Americans are heroes to all, because of our Godlyness. What would they do without us?
I Wish the Maim Streem Media would publish what is really going on in this world.

What did you expect a war to bring? Puppies, rainbows and no casualties?
Not all of us are as F'd up as those in the pictures or videos. Also, not all of these pictures are from our soldiers, alot of damage is done from suicide bombers, IED's and other "bad guys". You cannot solely blame the government and/or the U.S. Military for the casualties of any war. That is plain stupid.
I've been to Iraq and will be going to Afghanistan here shortly. Alot of people here have not and all you get is what you see and hear from the News or posted videos and pictures on the internet (such as above). The military does have a tarnished record, all the way from the Trail of Tears to The Mai Lai Massacre to today.
It all breaks down to this, you give us a weapon, we train and we're sent off to fight. There is no way to fully prepare your mind for War and some people just can't take it or they snap and become a whole new animal. It is sad, but it happens.
War Reality, I don't know if you're looking for an excuse of actions or an apology from someone, either way....you won't get one.
Heck, what do I know? I'm just a 23 year old kid with a weapon huh?
