Neither Party Has The Answers:

Look, I don't think that any Republican Party, Conservatives, Democratic Party, Liberals, Moderates or any other Labeled party of belief system has the answers.

Our Government system has been MASSIVE and CORRUPT for many, many years.

I don't think that either Left or Right or center minded citizens are truly happy with our Government.

The scandals, the waste, the corruption, the greed, the crimes, the secret programs the Gov runs are not unique to either party!

The Government uses our tax dollars, (nearly a third of the income every man and woman produces), for their causes and agendas and we really have little say, nor do we really know what exactly the money is spent on.

Government has been MASSIVE and out of control for many, many years!

Puppets, you hit the nail on the head, considering this is an every day common occurrence with Gov, HOWVER WE AS TAX PAYERS RARELY hear of the spending and waste as it is usually CLASSIFED!

READ the article that Johnny posted! This stuff is NOT isolated to any specific party over the years! Its Govermnet!

The Government has spent muti, multi, mult TRILLIONS on military machinery that has NEVER been used in a war!

It's all a big GAME and we have very little control.

We get little bitsy issues to squabble over, but Government does whatever it wants, whenever it wants.

This is hardly news and hardly realted to whatever party happens to be in office!

We are Puppets!

They are all pompous, arrogant and corrupt as that goes with the territory. The privileges, the life style, the favors and the environment breeds corruption in itself.

Once any person is elected to "serve" they become delusional by default. It's not a matter of if they will fly a straight arrow and hold up the laws and values they proclaim, it's a matter of if and when they get caught for not doing so.

Just look at history!

Vote Independent!

No More Lawyers

No More Political Parties

No More Career Politicians

No More Special Interests ahead of the Citizens

No More Stepping on the Constitution

Aaron, first there is NO Independent party in CA. There is Decline to State.... but NO party,so No primary to choose a party nominee... not much of a voice. Many DS (decline to state) strongly feel for one party or other, but to keep secret on job, hide out as a DS. (there is an American Independent party...some IGNORANT fools sign up as AI, but regret it. It is a REAL party full of radical pro-life clinic protestors! So KNOW what you're signing up for. Many who DO registering can't PROPERLY explain.
You say no special interests and have just local governement as if it's clean. WRONG on both. Public unions have become full-time, richest LOBBYISTS that exist and local Mayors & Councils are owned BY those special interests that are robbing us blinc. Our Mayors & councils are NOT representing the resident voters. They grant the pulic union anything they want, breaking you to provide things you do not even get yourself. The Mayor, Council, & public union lobbyists are all in colusion against us....on how they can EXTOART more $$ from us. Yes, local is better where it COULD be watched & controlled, but it's more fun to play soccer and allow the local theft to quietly continue. You see the PEOPLE ARE the problem IF they ALLOW the crimes against them and NOT step up a council and SPEAK....easier to smile and pretend to he friends !!! your choice !

Puppet! is right & Karen is angry & hateful. Get a hold of yourself, girlfriend. You're so angry, you're contradicting yourself. You shoot down Aaron in every way, including saying, "You say no special interests and have just local governement as if it's clean. WRONG on both.", while a few sentences later, you say, "Yes, local is better where it COULD be watched & controlled". That's exactly what he was saying. Calm down.... this is just a blog.

By the way, I'm Independent and I'm not "some IGNORANT fools sign up as AI, but regret it". Thanks for the insult to all Independents in assuming we don't know what we're doing. You obviously don't know what an Independent is. Since you like wikipedia (as showin in your AI definition), look up Independent.

So just what is a former Republican, recovering Bush-baby, already Obama burned out & Pelosi-phobic taxpayer supposed to do?

The two party system with it's non-existent structure of checks & balances regarding lobbyists, special interests, unions, PAC group pressure, entitlement program funding & (for all you conspiracy theorists) the CFR, Trilateral Commission, Shadow Government &...FREEMASONS!!! Have all but rendered our government incapable of returning the true seat of power to the people to which they are "supposed" to serve. It's only my opinion but we are sooooo far down the path of deceit, corruption & political graft that there is really no alternative other than what many would consider, a last resort. Now I hate it too when I just see cut & paste crap on the weekly, but since we all haven' read this in a while it bears repeating. Take it away Tommy...

So that part comes in right after the whole "life, liberty & pursuit of happiness line that we all remember from school house rock. If our founding fathers had the foresight over 230 years ago to even consider the notion that this new form of government that they themselves were proposing & creating as an alternative to English rule just might somehow, someday become the very thing that they were running from & attempting to create a new form of government that will truly serve the people, then just HOW different is the current state of our government? When considering that their ascension to what is in essence a modern day theocracy has gone un-challenged, their dismissal of care for the individual in lieu of corporate & multi-national interests & what (IMHO) is an utter disdain for the opinions, needs & rights of the general public. Our government, both political parties, legal system & general bureaucracy have failed us.

I've said it before, when your ready to storm the castle I've got my burning torch & pitchfork ready. Off with their heads I say!

Oh my Michelle, how sad. Slow down. I would say read more carefully to what I wrote, but I think it's that you don't understand how you are registered. You said you are an Independent with a capital I. Again, there is NO registration and NO Independent party in CALIF. I am a centrist and I know. There IS an American Independent PARTY...of radical lifers who protest at clinics, are RIGHT of the Republican Party. Other CLUELESS people MISTAKENLY registered AMERICAN independent...thinking they would leave the Repub party and instead of moving middle, moved more right.
And again, the LOCAL concept IS better. However, sometimes the weak allow friends to get in the way of honor....and are afraid to challenge the CORRUPT SPECIAL INTEREST PUBLIC UNIONS...who PLAN on citizens being weak. We all LOSE !!!! I meant what I said and the way I said it. and.....check your registration. You are NOT an Independent IF the word AMERICAN is in front of it. (it's not surprising Ca voters send stupid people to Ca legislature).
