No More Abortions - No Socialism
State, National, International, posted by What?, a resident of the Bordeaux Estates neighborhood, on Jul 31, 2009 at 1:08 pm

1.3 million Abortions are performed each year. Now let's consider some thing for discussion.

Regardless of moral, ethical, religious values, beliefs or ideals, consider the following:

Let’s first do some math:

1.3 million times 10 years is what?

The average delivery at a hospital is $7500.00 and more if at an Emergency room.

Subsidized Health Care, a guarantee for anyone under 18, costs tax payers an average of $600 a month.

So a million children a year times 10 years, or 10 million times 18 years, times $600 is exactly what? 180 million!

180 million times $600.00 is what?

A lot of tax payer funds.

Now, let’s further consider that a lot of these kids would be born to “MINORITY or UNDERADVANTAGED GROUPS”.

Consider that everyone seems to be VERY upset with some of Obama’s ideas on funding and training for these groups.

So, the year is 2013 and a far right wing president is elected. The Senate and the House are controlled by the Republicans and the Supreme Court majority is Pro life as well.

Abortion is outlawed!

However, these conservative folks don’t believe in handouts and don’t care for social spending either.

What is the expected outcome and how does this affect society as a whole?

let's see just how healthy of a discussion we can have here, considering out education level and all.

That looks to be in the trillions per year in medical costs alone.

hahahahaha very silly post, consider this, no abortion available, maybe, just maybe, women will be more responsible and require their partners to use protection or be on birth control...so the number of unwanted pregnancies will go down...

but, since i assume a liberal started this post...are you saying abortion is great way to put a check on minority growth? too funny...

Wait a minute here!

The same group that is against any Abortion what so ever, also say's using any form of birth control is committing crimes against God! So which is it?

Nope, major conservative here, sorry!

I didn't have a position on abortion for the sake of the post, just looking for comments and perspectives.
