Bryan:
America has been taken over by a rouge democrat-led Congress and a President who are both bent on changing this country into his own socialist/Marxist image...which looks nothing like the America of the past.

And conservatives like me who LOVE AMERICA are suppose to hand over the keys quietly to Obama and the democrat-led Congress, for them to burst the American dream for our kids and grandkids? ... to reduce American innovation and motivation to succeed? ... to reduce its Defense capability? ... to reduce its economic power?

You bet I am angry. I will not allow the takeover of this country without a fight. I understand why Democrats are wondering what is all the fuss about...because their position has always been that America is too big, too strong, too economically powerful, etc. So now that the democrats have a majority, we are witnessing where unchecked liberalism is taking America. Detroit, California, New Orleans (pre-Katrina), the examples of failed economies are many.

You call it Right Wing. I'll wear that badge PROUDLY, because to me it means extreme love for our country, its constitution, its values, its free-enterprise system, its belief that in America you can achieve your dreams if you work hard enough.

All of the above are being seriously threatened by the Obama Administration.

We are now at a point in history where the question should be asked...

Are you FOR the pre-Obama America, or not? If not, then prepare for a political fight for America's existence.

Paula,

"America has been taken over by a rouge democrat-led Congress and a President who are both bent on changing this country into his own socialist/Marxist image...which looks nothing like the America of the past."

Obama was voted in by the majority of the citizens of the United states. So perhaps the majority wants radical change from what we experienced for eight years! Are we behind Obama 100% no matter what he does? Will his approval rated rise and fall, and perhaps just fall, perhaps. Did Bush's approval ratings just fall tremendously?
It's very easy to point fingers, especially in these times of hardship. Obama inherited this mess! After the BEST that you folks could do for eight years, the result was a near depression that still could happen, a severe recession that's only getting worse, a meltdown of the worlds and U.S. bank, a complete melt down in CA, the auto industry, an unfavorable view of America world wide, and the highest unemployment rate in a long, long time. Obama did not create all this, he walked into it. he never promised an immediate or even close to a rapid recovery. I wont comment on the "socialist/Marxist" comment because that is just plain foolish rhetoric! Bush was put in office in part by a Judge and was elected based upon fear mongering and lies! Bush failed to focus on the U.S. domestic policies for eight years! He completely ignored what was going on in Wall Street and was solely focused on his and his fathers war games! America was tired of that! Our founding fathers wound have turned over in their graves. You folks seem dead set on some 200 year old values and a rigid inflexible stance that we should be this or that, no matter what. Why didn't we all just stick to the horse and buggy? Why didn't we just stick with slave labor and beating children in schools for punishment, or nor letting woman vote?

"And conservatives like me who LOVE AMERICA are suppose to hand over the keys quietly to Obama and the democrat-led Congress, for them to burst the American dream for our kids and grandkids? ... to reduce American innovation and motivation to succeed? ... to reduce its Defense capability? ... to reduce its economic power?"

Paula, Bush already burst "the American dream" for multi million. At a price tag of trillions of debt I may add! The rest of you comment is not worth commenting on!

"

You personally know the "position" of every single Democrat in this nation? Were we 1000% behind Obama? We you all 1000% behind Bush? There is no alternative at this point sadly. It's Democrat or republican. Many of us are somewhere in the middle ON both sides. Sadly is usually comes down to a few key issues that both sides hold a very hard line stance on! Then, both parties come up with candidates who only provide lip service in regard to these issues to get elected. This has happened throughout history. Politics is a nasty business full of greed, deceit and these guys are obligated to pay the piper. Forget the constitution issues, we need to change the serious flaws within our government and electoral system on all fronts! The right wing anger, is becoming a revolutionist mission and we call the fractions in the middle east uncivilized? We don't have 4 years left to decide wether our nation will come to an end as we know it! We were much closer to that with Bush in power! People who think like you and all this anger is beyond dangerous!

"You call it Right Wing. I'll wear that badge PROUDLY, because to me it means extreme love for our country, its constitution, its values, its free-enterprise system, its belief that in America you can achieve your dreams if you work hard enough."

I guess you conservatives have a patent on this love of our country, these dreams, beliefs and values? Wake up, most of us have the same dreams and values. Most of us work very hard and love America!

"All of the above are being seriously threatened by the Obama Administration.

You like many are just intoxicated with rhetoric spewed out by Hannity, Rush, O'Reily and the like. These guys make a great living by dramatizing the situation and creating fear and a frenzy!

QUESTION:

Most conservatives, or many are religious. Stop playing god and have some faith. Everything happens for a reason and in Gods time. Have faith and pray for your enemies. Let go and let god!

America hasn't been taken over by anybody. It is being run by legitimately elected officials. These are the people the majority of your fellow citizens put into office. There's no big conspiracy.

"You call it Right Wing. I'll wear that badge PROUDLY, because to me it means extreme love for our country, its constitution, its values, its free-enterprise system, its belief that in America you can achieve your dreams if you work hard enough." Just so you know, those values aren't exclusive to conservatives. Liberals love their country just as much as you do. Quit trying to hijack patriotism.

"Are you FOR the pre-Obama America, or not? If not, then prepare for a political fight for America's existence. " Very dramatic, and reminds me of a certain "you're with us or you're against us" speech from a few years ago...
Why is everything fight, fight, fight with you people? You're so flipping angry all the time. It's really a shame.

Stay cool,

Odd you would say this. Every time you post, it's part of a fight with a conservative...

p.s. Both wings, right and left are whackos. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE CONSIDERED "WINGS".

Taken over? Last I checked those in office were *elected*.

Rouge? I assume you meant "rogue". Rogue implies deceit and acting on one's own. It's more descriptive of a person who talks about "weapons of mass destruction", starts a war over them, and then never produces those "womd".

Hello "Parent of Two,"
Clearly, I'm referring to the language used in the post I was addressing, as I referenced above, where the word "fight" was actually used.
I'm not fighting - I'm disagreeing. Debate is not the same as "fight." Posting a dissenting opinion or asking for backup data is not starting a "fight." Look at the language differences.
Anyway - I'm a lover, not a fighter.
