Need your help...will you help me?
Schools & Kids, posted by Amy Taylor, a member of the Valley View Elementary School community, on Jul 15, 2009 at 3:19 pm

Hi crazy & wild PW Forum crowd,

I'm needing your help. There are some great auctions listed at the online auction house to raise money for Pleasanton schools.

Web Link

BUT, there has been a huge decrease in traffic to the website =(. I think people are vacationing, and simply forgetting to come back and check the auctions. It's also hard to get the word out in summer with school being out.

Soooooo, I'm wondering if those of you that actually think this auction is kinda cool, would help me by e-mailing a link to everyone you know in Pleasanton. Maybe post it on your Facebook status? Write the link on your back car window in shoe polish? If you own a small airplane maybe you could pull a banner? You get my drift :).

Thanks in advance!

Amy,

Just checked out your website again and saw some goodies. I'll bookmark the page, send it to others, and I will also TRY to visit it more often.

Otherwise, I am signing off as a PW Town Forum reader and won't see any further posts of yours. I can't stand this place anymore with all the sniping.

Good luck, AMY!!

(P.S. Anyway to see more current totals on the fundraising? It's discouraging not to see the ride line on the themometer move since 20 days ago...thanks!)

Thanks guys!

Keep it up!

Also, I put the updated thermometer on the site so you can see where we're at!

Just kidding Amy. I think what you're doing is pretty great. Keep up the good work.
