Iranian Woman Pleading for America to HELP while Describing Massacre on Bridge

Original post made by Paul on Jun 24, 2009

A very compelling audio of an Iranian woman who describes the massacre that occurred on a popular pedestrian bridge. Around 500 armed regime attacked large group. It is too chilling.

And yet OBAMA does NOTHING to HELP people who literally are courageously risking their lives for FREEDOM! OBAMA IS FOR THE REGIME!

Yeah, let's get into another war. Great idea. We cannot save the world and should not feel compelled to try.

Hrm, where was the US in 1956 when Soviet tanks were rolling into Hungary? Playing lip-service? Is it true that Eisenhower was FOR THE SOVIET REGIME?

This is REALLY getting OUT of HAND!
Unimaginable Horror in Tehran Today
Iran has executed its Tiananmen Square. Baharestan Square has become synonymous with barbarity, cruelty, massacre and inhumanity.

An Iranian blogger (whose URL I will not publish) live blogging from Baharestan Square in central Tehran today captures but brief glimpses of the unimaginable horror that took place today. Bus loads of protesters were stopped and unloaded from their buses by "black-clad police" and literally herded. When the massing was sufficient, as the barely controllably distraught Tehran caller to CNN described first hand, hundreds of the regime's Basij thugs poured out of an adjoining mosque and commenced a massacre with axes, clubs, guns and gas.

From the live blogger's eyewitness account:

>More than 10.000 Bassij Milittias get position in Central Tehran, including Baharestan Sq.
>Army Helycopters flying over Baharestan and Vali Asr Sq.
>The streets, squares and around BAHARESTAN (Approx. South-eastern of Tehran) is swarming with military forces, civilian forces, the security motorists
>The croud have moved to the south of baharestan, the situation is bad, the shooting has started
>In Baharestan Sq. in the Police shooting, A girl is shot and the police is not allowing to let them help
>In Baharestan we saw militia with axe choping people like meat - blood everywhere - like butcher

This is the Iranian regime, wading into its own unarmed people and axing them to death, bludgeoning women (seen as the greatest threat to the regime) and throwing them to their deaths from pedestrian bridges. The same Iranian regime whose embassy officials are invited to American embassies around the world to celebrate on July 4th, of all things, a successful revolution.

This frantic phone call from a Tehran woman will break your heart as you consider our standard response has been "that there are sets of international norms and principles about violence" and that "the international community is watching." Part of yesterday's response by President Obama in a press conferences included "that there is a peaceful path that will lead to stability and legitimacy (of the Iranian regime) and prosperity for the Iranian people. We hope they take it." The Iranian theocratic regime clearly is not interested.

There should not be - nor should have ever been - invitations to the ruthless Iranian regime's international ambassadors to celebrate anything with us, anywhere, unless it is an invitation to a tribunal on charges of crimes against humanity.

To my intelligent friends who have been arguing the logic of our president's near silence on the issue of Iran - and not without merit on certain points - you can disengage from me now. I will entertain none of it any longer.

This is an axe wound, just one, doled out by the regime's thug basiji animals on Saturday, June 20, 2009.

This was a brutal murder of an assuredly unarmed protester of the up-close-and-personal variety. An act, and one not isolated, which requires the presence of inhumane malice and aggression ant the absence of humanity. The traits required for massacres upon the unarmed. There is no nuance, no logical approach, no deft explanation that covers near silence and inadequate, tepid condemnation of the meekest sort. To decline any mention of possible repercussions on the regime for these acts "because we don't know how this is going to turn out" is moral cowardice of the highest order. Look at the picture above and listen to the frantic woman calling in to CNN again. They seem to "know how this is going to turn out."

There is a way to condemn a regime axing its citizens in the streets of Tehran and other cities across Iran without "making this about the US." You, and our president, are intelligent men and women and lacking no gifts of speech and prose. Find what's missing. Each of you frustrate and sadden me. Argue your eloquent points elsewhere. My ears are deaf as of now.

Sorry folks, you can't count on me to show up for a war...so don't ask!

If you want to fight for the freedom of Iranians, be my guest.

Cholo,

We'll remember your words of wisdom if Livermore is ever under attack. Did you know that recently LLNL's maps were recently published accidentally on the 'net showing where we keep the nuclear 'stuff' (keeping it simplified for you...). If anyone comes to attack there, we'll remember you don't want help...since you won't help others.

That's how it works. Everyone should be horrified at what this tyrranical government is doing to people who just want the chance to have what we have.

How sad we are if that is the attitude of our nation. Isn't it a good thing that Cholo's attitude wasn't the attitude of those that have fought on behalf of liberty?

Cholo is a sloth. I'd fight to help the Iranian people.

If you're so determined to go to war, then pack a shirt and GO! Hurry up before the war is over...get a move on...high tail it outta here!!!

I think it's interesting that the policy of the US gummint during the Dirty War in Argentina is worth reviewing. Where was the US when 30,000 students and others DISAPPEARED BETWEEN 1976 -1983? Were you in still in diapers? If you're not in diapers now, then go start a war in Iran. Who is stopping you? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

A first, I agree with Cholo. You other guys wanna fight then go. This is not our war, we are not responsible for every bad thing that happens in the world. The US is not the all purpose police force for any country that is lawless.

WHERE WAS THE USA DURING THE HOLOCAUST!

In my opinion, the Jews of Venezuela will also be murdered and the USA will do nothing! All over South America anti-semitism is on the RISE. Despite denial even in the Jewish leadership re: anit-semitism in Venezuela, it exists and it is increasing due to the present dictator what's his name?

I saw an interview today that said people at the state department are looking into going to war with North Korea if NK keeps it up. We can't seriously let people think they can get away with threatening us. But a third war front? That is scary.

Listen, I'm not a scholar on the war stuff, but does anyone think it's likely we'll get any assistance if we go into any war? And how will we finance it?

Why can't other countries get their acts together and stop being so aggressive toward their own people and the world?

If anyone hasn't noticed, the more freedom in the world, the safer it is for countries that are free. If Obama lifted a finger of support to the Iran protesters, that might tip the balance to topple the regime. If that were to happen, I understand that Iran would still not have freedom but it would be a huge step in that direction.

So, to those people posting on this board -- and to the banana republic dictator Obama -- who doesn't want to "meddle" in Iranian affairs (yet meddles with Israel's affairs and the US Constitution), assisting Iranians in their quest for freedom serves OUR national defense as well.

By the way, now we have North Korea stating that they'd like to wipe the US off the map. alQuaeda was first in line to claim this goal. Both better HURRY UP if they want credit of destroying America, because OBAMA is beating them to it.

Bill, only one word for you -- idiot.
"If Obama lifted a finger of support to the Iran protesters, that might tip the balance to topple the regime. If that were to happen, I understand that Iran would still not have freedom but it would be a huge step in that direction. "
What EXACTLY does any of that mean? "Lifted a finger" -- dropped a bomb? moved in 10,000 troops? sent a nasty email?
"Iran would still have freedom" -- freedom like we have it? like the women in Muslim countries have it? like the ants in an ant farm have it?
You speak in vague generalities that are meaningless. We do not owe that country another war to fight their battles. Where do we draw the line? If North Korea fires a rocket in our direction we have NO choice other than retaliation of some sort. Poking our noses into every disagreement worldwide has only brought disastrous results. If you feel so strongly then sign up with Blackwater or some other mercenary group and go fight yourself. Leave the Obama-hating for another time. Your feelings about him are not relevant in this argument and you make this argument only to spout off your feelings.
