As an informal poll I checked the number of comments by category for the five most recent posts on the PW Town Square Forum. Results are...

1. Crimes and Incidents (96)
2. Publisher's Blog (89)
3. Reflections (78)
4. Books and Movies (42)
Bottom of the list (least to most since these deserve honor)
1. Editors blog (5)
2. Sports (17)
3. State & National (19)
4. Comments on stories (26)
Top Stories by comment number
1. Thanks for Saving Us From The Pot Plants in Sunol (42)
2. We acknowledge an error in judgment was made (37)
3. Wine Tasting at Deer Ridge Vineyards (32)
4. Student doing well after nearly drowning during school trip (29)
Yes this is out of date as I click post and there is an issue of certain categories getting posted to less often so accumulating more posts, but it's also a look at what PW posters are interested in. Draw your conclusions pleases...

Conclusions:
1) You made an interesting choice as to what to do with your free time.
2) The information as presented is misleading. Example, "Publisher's Blog" ranks second on your list and yet I don't see any posts there newer than April.
3) To truly see what PW posters are interested in you'd have to track the last, say 50 or 100, posts and see what categories they are in.

Julie - "there is an issue of certain categories getting posted to less often so accumulating more posts" -TW
"you'd have to track the last, say 50 or 100, posts and see what categories they are in" and you question how I spend my time? Try doing that and post the information next month when you are done. It was also about comment amount not post amount. This was an informal and imperfect poll. It took me ten minutes because I was curious, just thought I would share.
